Last month I won a great giveaway from Birchbox filled with a ton of great Dr. Jart products!! I haven't tried everything yet, but the products I've tried, I LOVE. One of the items was the Ceramidin Starter Kit.
It comes with a Liquid bottle and a Cream tube. They are meant to be used one after the other, but you can also purchase/use them on their own. I've used both products in the morning and evening (after washing my face) every day since I got them, so for a little over a month. They are so great for my skin!

First of all, my face, and skin in general, have been very dry because of the cold. When I got this I was just starting to wonder what I should be using on my face. Perfect timing! My face really hasn't been dry at all since using these products together. Second, some products make my face breakout after using them for a while. This hasn't happened at all with this kit. I just use a tiny bit of the Liquid (which is like a serum) and the Cream (which has a texture similar to thicker/less-runny lotion...not the best description!). Both are yellowish in color and the smell is almost menthol-y, which I really like.
The box lists all of the benefits of the products, such as "transforming rough and dull skin into hydrated healthy glowing skin", strengthening and protecting your "skin barrier from chronic water and moisture loss", and plumping and sealing fine lines and wrinkles. I feel like they do all of this and more.
When I got it, I googled "ceramide" and basically, it's the main thing that our skin is made of, making it waterproof and keeping good things in and bad things out (not nearly as scientific as the actual definition :) ). It really does seem like these products make it so my skin is stronger, smoother, and more solid!
The full-sized Liquid and Cream can be purchased individually on the Birchbox website, along with the kit. I am definitely going to buy both of these, either in the kit or separately once I run finish these. I am so glad that I won these products and was able to try them because otherwise, I'm sure I never would have had the chance!
