The EmporiYUM

Hi!

About a month ago there was a two-day event in Baltimore called The EmporiYUM.

It's a huge food fair (over 65 vendors) with tons and tons of businesses and restaurants giving out samples and selling food and drinks!  This was the second year that it was held in Baltimore.

I won a pair of tickets from The EmporiYUM's Instagram a couple of weeks before so Alex and I got to go on the first day!!  We were so excited!  I tried for all of contests they did to win tickets, and I was so happy to win one of them :)

They stagger the entrance times, which is really nice so there aren't such huge crowds of people.  Our tickets were for 11am (VIPs went in at 10am).

We spent the next two hours going from vendor to vendor, trying all kinds of yummy food and drinks, buying things, taking pictures, etc.!

Many of the vendors were local businesses and restaurants, like The Pie Cycle (debuting their brand new tricycle!), Dooby's, Kate Bakes Bars, Woot Granola, and a ton more.  There were a lot of out-of-town vendors, too!

We bought two jars of really yummy tea from Running Byrd Tea and two bags of grits - one white and one yellow - from Geechie Boy Mill.

We also got pretzel sticks to eat there and got popsicles from King of Pops to eat on the way home!

Everything was so good.  As part of my prize when I won our tickets, we also got a cheesecake from Charlottetown Farm!  We picked it up at their booth on our way out.

It was made from goat milk and it was SO good!  We cut it up and kept it in the freezer and ate it frozen...so yummy!!

It was such a fun event to go to, and so different from anything else we've done here!  Surprisingly, it was actually warm out that day.  Luckily it took place in this big warehouse which used to be the H&S Distribution Center.

We had a blast!  Thanks to The EmporiYUM for our tickets and to Charlottetown Farm for our cheesecake!!

Thanks for reading!
