Sock and Glove Stuffed Animals

Hi!

While we were in Tucson, Alex's mom, sisters, and I made some cute, easy stuffed animals made out of gloves!  Alex's mom, Carol, has a book called Sock and Glove: Creating Charming Softy Friends from Cast-off Socks and Gloves and it has instructions to make lots of different animals!

One night, Carol, Grace, and I each tried making one.  They made dogs and I made a bear!

Then Abby and I made some another day.  I made a rabbit and Abby made a dog.  Here are the two I made!

We had so much fun making these!  The instructions in the book are very easy to read (there are lots of photographs and drawings).  Here are the rabbit instructions from a Martha Stewart article about this book.  I love how each animal turns out a little bit different, even when they're from the same pattern.  Gloves are so inexpensive at places like Target, Michael's, and JoAnn's.  I might get some more to make more cute animals!
